Paul has been an independent casting director and member of the Casting Society of America for 14 years. His credits include TV shows and pilots, films, hundreds of plays, and many new media projects (view his IMDb profile here.) Before entering the wonderful world of casting, Paul was a literary agent, talent manager, and a busy NY actor.
He believes in getting the best actor for every role instead of just hiring a star, and he loves auditioning new talent. He refuses to work on bad material, no matter how big the budget. He feels any actor who gets a callback for one of his projects should get feedback whether they get the part or not. His philosophy on the entertainment business aligns with what writer/director Peter Hedges (The Odd Life of Timothy Green) said when asked why he didn’t direct more films: “I don’t like working with assholes.”
